JG Wentworth – Still Committed To Topnotch Service
If you are an average person looking for reliable financial service, you may have second thoughts about turning to one that had previously experienced bankruptcy in its history. Many people may pursue a beeline towards the opposite direction when confronted with such an alternative. Savvier consumers, however, would have enough presence of mind to weigh the pros and cons of a given service before making a judgment.
Quite, a number of people were confronted with the very same choice years ago, when news first broke out of JG Wentworth’s filing of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. As it turned out, the JG Wentworth bankruptcy story became an example of more than just overcoming negative press. It also became an example of how one company overcame adversity and eventually grew just as financially stable as before. The company probably gained more revenues in its awakening.
The JG Wentworth financial services firm had long exercised only the shrewdest, most calculated of business practices since it first started operations in the early nineties. The JG Wentworth bankruptcy filing of 2009 was no exception. While otherwise viewed as a red flag in the minds of ordinary consumers, the move was not without its sound logic. The JG Wentworth bankruptcy strategy was a precautionary measure carried out at the peak of the last economic recession. As a result, the move had not only ensured the company’s longevity, but also kept its customers’ assets fully protected.
For years, people had trusted JG Wentworth, readily turning to them for the skilled management of structured settlements, consumer-held annuities and other illiquid assets. Through JG Wentworth’s assistance, people have managed to convert life insurance policies, lawsuit advances and lottery winnings into immediate cash. These people have in turn succeeded in bouncing back from heavy debt, unpaid bills, and tight financial straits.
The company has helped the public gain awareness of its specialized services through its crowd-pleasing series of commercials. These commercials have helped get across the nitty-gritty of JG Wentworth’s financial work in clear terms. They have also featured characters such as the fictional Mr. Wentworth and an overenthusiastic opera singer straight out of Wagner.

Texas Attorney, Reed Allmand, Calls GM Hypocritical on Fox Business News
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 24, 2009 — Appearing on Fox Business News, Bankruptcy attorney, Reed Allmand, participated in a panel discussion on the current state of bankruptcy filings related to consumers and the automobile and newspaper industries.
Allmand, who appeared on the "Money for Breakfast" show with two other panelists, expressed his surprise at the velocity with which Big Autos' bankruptcies may proceed: "What we're seeing here is something we've never seen before in a bankruptcy context," he says. "Chrysler may be out of bankruptcy in two months."
And the normal pace by which a bankruptcy proceeds? "an average Chapter 11 bankruptcy takes 18 months," Allmand stated.
Allmand also believes there's a certain hypocritical element to seeing automakers like GM pushing towards bankruptcy while the Bankruptcy Mortgage Modification Bill, which would have helped GM's workers and many other Americans, was defeated.
For example, GM now has the power under Chapter 11 to modify the terms of their secured debt and is taking full advantage of that power by cramming down billions of dollars they owed to their secured creditors. The Bankruptcy Mortgage Modification Bill proposed in Congress earlier this year would have extended those same rights to individuals in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy allowing them to modify the terms of their adjustable rate mortgage. However, GMAC Mortgage, a wholly owned subsidiary of GM, lobbied approximately $410,000 dollars to defeat that bill leaving millions of Americans helpless to stop foreclosures of their homes, due to adjustable rate mortgages.
What's next for Allmand? He says, "I will continue to do interviews on radio and television when the opportunity arises. This is wonderful exposure for Allmand & Lee and helps solidify us as the leading bankruptcy firm in the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex area."
W. Reed Allmand is a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney (http://www.allmandandlee.com/) and partner in the law firm Allmand & Lee. He has been practicing for 9 years and has handled more than 5,000 bankruptcy filings. He is also author of the book, " The Truth about Bankruptcy. (http://thetruthaboutbankruptcy.com/)" Allmand & Lee has offices in Dallas and Hurst. Dr. L. Todd Thomas Discusses President Obama and Integrity in Leadership with Fox Business News
Rochester, Michigan (PRWEB) February 26, 2009 — Dr. L. Todd Thomas, premier coach in global leadership development and president of IMPACT Consulting and Development, LLC. (http://impactsuccess.com/Home_Page.html), discussed with Fox Business News' Money for Breakfast host Alexis Glick integrity in leadership and how President Obama has handled recent fallout from controversial appointees Bill Richardson, Tom Daschle, Nancy Killefer & Timothy F. Geithner.
The discussion centered around both the possibility that the president may have credibility issues because of the problems with the four appointees and the president's new policy on private sector executive compensation packages. Thomas specifically commented on what President Obama needs to accomplish going forward with future appointees. "He has to look at his processes and he as to affirm with his team that 'Hey guys, we set the bar, we have to model this…'" Thomas said. "Maybe this is a credibility hit, maybe this is an opportunity for him to model what he's been talking about for so long."
Thomas also remarked that so far, President Obama's response to the Daschle and Killefer withdrawals was exactly what he needed to do, taking responsibility both from his postion and personally for the failures of the appointments. This marks Thomas' third appearance on Fox Business News in recent months.

Hospitality Financial Consulting Group Releases Their Report on Flow-Through Analysis
Coral Gables, FL. (PRWEB) July 7, 2009 — Usually, when revenues increase, profit goes up. The opposite is also the norm. Revenues decrease and profit goes down. But how much should profit go up and how much should it go down? This calculation is most often called Flow-Through analysis.
In his first article in a series on Hospitality Operations Finance, Eric C. Hertha, Principal at Hospitality Financial Consulting Group LLC (http://www.hfcgllc.com) and Publisher of Hospitality Business News (http://www.hospitalitybusinessnews.com), discusses the steps needed to implement a system in your hotel or restaurant.
"My feeling is that if you do not know generally what something should be then you cannot tell if there is a problem" states Mr. Hertha. He went on to say that "you may have a GOP percentage one month of 25% versus your budget of 30%. In this situation one might think that there is a big problem, and there very well could be, but the variance could simply be the result of a change in the revenue mix from high profit departments to lower profit ones. If you have not analyzed the change in the sales mix and projected what the outcome at GOP should be you will not know if your performance is good or bad. You will not know where the problems are."

Do You Trust Your Leaders? International Leadership Coach Talks Public Mistrust in Leadership with Fox Business News
Rochester, Michigan (PRWEB) December 31, 2008 — Dr. L. Todd Thomas, a premier coach in global leadership development and president of IMPACT Consulting and Development, LLC., (http://www.IMPACTSuccess.com) discussed with Fox Business News host David Asman the public's lack of trust in its leaders in a segment called Should You Trust Your Leaders? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkMVrw4OTtw) which aired December 22, 2008.
The discussion centered around the perception of success. "One of the problems I think we've created is we've become so success-oriented, so results-oriented, that we've turned a blind eye…we need to look at some of these things, not just what are the results, but what goes in to making these results," Thomas said.
Thomas also discussed his work with hundreds of leaders (http://www.global-leadership-dialogue.com/) around the world and have found their biggest challenge is pressure for results from bosses, shareholders, etc. Thomas challenged that the definition of results needs to be redefined.
